ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – May 4, 2021 - Road America is proud to announce a unique partnership with the Plymouth Dirt Track adding a special Thursday night winged sprint car doubleheader to the many festivities held in conjunction with The NASCAR Cup Jockey Made in America 250 presented by Kwik Trip weekend July 1-4.

Thursday evening, July 1, the regional Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series will headline an all sprint car show on the 1/3 mile Plymouth Dirt Track located at Sheboygan County Fair Park, just five miles from Road America.

Lisa Weinberger, the wife of renowned automotive enthusiast, racer, and entrepreneur John Weinberger, who died last September, is offering a series of scholarships to benefit students who aspire to follow in his footsteps.

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – January 28, 2021 - Road America announced today that Parker John’s BBQ and Wings has entered into a new collaborative operative partnership with Road America’s new Paddock Concession Stand beginning with the 2021 season. The stand, which has been managed by St. John the Baptist for 65 years, saw a complete rebuild before the 2020 season. The modern structure features enclosed patio seating for fans looking to dine in the shade, plus a large dining terrace overlooking Road America’s expanded Fan Walk.

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - October 9, 2020 - Road America today unveiled a new bronze statue of its founder, Clif Tufte, next to the center that bears his name located in the paddock area of the sprawling 640-acre facility that was conceptualized sixty-five years ago. Tufte, a highway engineer, put together the land and laid out the track in 1955 after racing on the public roads around Elkhart Lake became impractical for many reasons.

The 57th Annual SCCA National Championship Runoffs Takes Center Stage At Road America

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - September 29, 2020 - Road racing champions will be crowned next week at Road America as drivers from around the country participate in the 57th running of the pinnacle amateur road-racing event in the U.S., the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA®) National Championship Runoffs® October 9-11. The event determines the best drivers of the season within each of the 26 classes of competition and this year nearly 600 entries are expected, making the Runoffs the largest annual amateur road-racing event in the world.
