Road America’s Performance Driving Program teaches the physics
and dynamics of precision driving. Participants learn advanced
car control techniques through intense drills involving braking,
cornering, and acceleration. This performance driving program
includes a variety of car control skills along with some exciting
autocross challenges. Exercises will take place at various
locations around the property. Participants will also receive a
track tour or behind-the-scenes tour of Road America.
Price: $375 with own vehicle, $500 with RA
school vehicle

Courses run May through October. Classes run from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m. A 30-minute lunch break is provided during the day. Please
feel free to bring a bag lunch or take advantage of our
Chef’s Selection box lunch (order when registering).
Disclaimers
- Performance 1 class does not take place on the 4-Mile road
course.
- A valid driver’s license is required to participate in the
course. Vehicle selection may differ for those under 21 years of
age. School-supplied vehicles include Chevrolet Cruze,
Malibu, or similar model.
- Individuals with motion sickness or any other medical
condition that might affect their driving ability should consult
their doctor before taking this course.

2! Participants interested in enrolling in
the Performance Driving 2 course need to be at least 16 years of
age and possess a valid driver’s license. They must show
proof that they have successfully completed Performance
Driving 1 or a similar course within the past three years or
have participated in a track day within the previous
ten years.
