Open Track Days at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at
Road America are the perfect opportunity to gain
experience on either a motorcycle or kart. Track day participants
are treated to plenty of track time without the pressure of
organized racing. Track time is open to the public and is split
evenly into run groups based on types of vehicles and experience
levels.
Karts, SuperMoto bikes and street bikes 600cc or less will be
allowed to participate. Other vehicles will be considered with
prior approval from Road America.

Pricing
Participants are encouraged to purchase memberships for either
the SuperMoto Series or the
Road America Karting Club to take
advantage of some great savings.
- Member Participant (SuperMoto Series
& Karting Club): $40
- Non-Member Participant: $60 / The participant fee
includes Rider/Driver pit pass.
- Pit Passes: $12 / Spectators are considered crew and
will be required to purchase a pit pass.
Registration
- Enter at the designated gate listed on the
- Check-in with security to sign property waiver
- All participants and crew must register
- Registration is open 30 minutes before open track time
- Registration will close one hour prior to the conclusion of
the track day
Safety Requirements
All vehicles are subject to a safety inspection and approval by a
Road America official before getting on track. Safety gear is
required while on track at all times.
Karting:
- Drivers of karts are required to have safety gear that meets
the standards set forth in the current Road America
Karting Club rule book.
- All machines are required to be equipped with a fluid catch
can.
Supermoto:
- Riders of bikes are required to have full leather protection
or motocross gear with a full skeleton and an approved helmet.
- It is also recommended that bikes be equipped with frame
sliders and have safety wire installed.

run weather permitting only.
- Road America reserves the right to change the open track day
schedule at any time.
- Please remember to call the hotline before heading to the
track.
- No refunds will be given for pit passes.
- Participant fee refunds will only be given prior to the
participant going on track.

New to Karting
Public Karting: Event attendees can
enjoy laps around the Motorplex track during select public
race weekends. Event admission is required in addition to
the public karting fee. Public Karting is a non-competitive,
fun karting experience.
Karting Experience: Give
karting a try at the Road America Briggs & Stratton Motorplex
during select 2023 Karting Club Race Weekends! Enjoy the
thrill of this one-of-a-kind facility that offers many
challenging twists and turns all while reaching speeds of up to
40 mph on one of the provided karts!
