The Dirt Bike School at Road America was created
to provide hands-on rider training with an emphasis on safety and
skill development. The six-hour Dirt Bike Course 201 is a fun
hands-on training session available to anyone twelve years old or
above who wants to take their off-highway riding skills to the
next level. Dirt Bike School coaches will teach you basic
riding skills and responsible riding practices, including risk
management and environmental awareness. Bring your own dirt bike
or learn on one of our
YAMAHA TT-R125 dirt bikes!

Required Safety Gear:
- Over the ankle footwear, with good sole grip, heels not to
exceed 1.5”
- Long pants, no rips or exposed skin
- Full fingered gloves
- Long sleeve shirt (minimum) or riding jacket
- DOT-approved street-legal helmet and eye protection
(full-face helmet recommended)

Course Curriculum:

riding techniques
Dirt Bike 201 is designed for those 12 years old or older who can
operate a manual (clutch equipped) motorcycle and wish to learn
basic dirt riding skills, including an introduction to
intermediate dirt riding techniques. Risk management and
environmental awareness are also covered.

Dirt Bike 101 is not required to enroll in Dirt Bike 201, but
riders must be able to operate a manual (clutch equipped)
motorcycle without instruction. Students must be 12 years old or
older with a 28” inseam or taller.
