ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – November 14, 2024 – The American Cancer Society’s annual 4-mile Walk/Run at Road America achieved an incredible milestone this year, raising $181,000 and surpassing its goal by $21,000. This powerful event, now in its fourth decade, has collectively raised over $5 million to support the fight against cancer, bringing hope to thousands of families.

Road America, serving as the proud presenting sponsor, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who participated, volunteered, and donated. The event held deep personal significance for Team Road America, who honored the memory of Enrique Ramirez, a cherished colleague and friend who passed away in August 2023 after his courageous battle with cancer. Inspired by Enrique’s legacy, Team Road America contributed an impressive $24,662 toward this year’s total.

This achievement is a testament to the generosity and resilience of the community, honoring those affected by cancer while fueling ongoing efforts to fund research and patient support.

Road America remains dedicated to making a lasting impact, demonstrating that even in challenging times, the community’s compassion and commitment shine through.
