2024 Road America Walk/Run for the American Cancer Society

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – November 2, 2024 – In a heartwarming display of community strength, the American Cancer Society’s annual 4-mile Walk/Run event at Road America on November 4 saw an incredible fundraising feat, surpassing the $200,000 mark this year. For over four decades, this event has been a beacon of hope, bringing together thousands of participants and volunteers to raise an impressive total of $4.6 million in the fight against cancer.

We are excited to bring this event back again on November 2nd, 2024! 

Road America, is the proud presenting sponsor, expresses deep gratitude for the overwhelming support from individuals who rallied on the track to make a difference. The event took on a poignant note as participants from Team Road America remembered the late Enrique Ramirez, a cherished friend and co-worker who bravely battled cancer until August 2023. Enrique’s spirit lives on in the collective effort to fundraise, with several years of dedicated contributions to the Cancer Walk/Run and other events.

This success not only celebrates the generosity of donors but also serves as a tribute to those touched by cancer. Road America remains committed to this cause, acknowledging its profound impact on individuals and families. The collective dedication of the community has turned a challenging year into a triumph of compassion and resilience.
